(Ephesians 3:14) "For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
So, what's the hardest lesson we have to learn as a Christian?" It's the one where Jesus tells us that "Apart from Me, you can do nothing?" (John 15:5)
For example, one of the hardest lessons is the call to forgive others, especially when confronting deep-seated wounds or injustices. This calls for letting go of resentment and fully embracing Grace (which reflects the forgiveness that Christ offers to us all). This path is impossible for us without the Holy Spirit and requires a deep and faithful reliance on Him.
For example, another significant challenge is the requirement to love one’s enemies/ those who persecute us. This call to radical love and compassion is again impossible without the Holy Spirit and requires a deep and faithful reliance on His leading.
For example, the practice of self-denial and taking up one's cross is a profound struggle. It invites us to prioritise spiritual growth and the needs of others over personal desires, which is counterintuitive without the Holy Spirit, and requires more than just lip service to Him.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, help me to commit and trust myself wholly to the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. I want You to cause even my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will, so that Your plans will be established and succeed. I want to trust in You, LORD, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding." Amen!
