(Psalm 18:6) “In my distress [when I seemed surrounded] I called upon the Lord and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears.”
Each one of us today is either struggling themselves in one way or another, or knows of someone who is in desperate need.
In my life, the spectrum starts light with requests for healing grace over small injuries and ramps up with needs for salvation as death is imminent.
- I know people who need a resolution in selling their home, and I know people who need to let go of their dependency on drink and drugs.
- I know people who desperately need to get out of the debt trap, and I know people who need to see a fragmented family put back together.
- I know people who are battling depression, and I know people who are living a lie, just to try and stay afloat.
What about you? Has the Lord placed someone on your heart who is in need?

Let's pray, "Heavenly Father, I come before you with confidence, knowing that you hear me when I pray according to your will. I desire to align my heart and my requests with your purposes for my life and those I am praying for. Help me to understand your will through your Word and the guidance of your Spirit. I trust that when I ask according to your will, I will receive what I have asked of you. Thank you for your faithfulness and for hearing my prayers." Amen!
