(Romans 10:14) "But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent [for that purpose]?”

So ... what's the opposite of faith? Actually, the opposite of faith is 'unbelief.' If we have faith, we believe; if we don't have faith, we don't believe.

When Jesus called His disciples to account for their lack of faith, He suggested that fear was associated with unbelief (Mark 4:40): “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith and confidence [in Me]?”

According to Romans 10:14-17, these verses emphasise the importance of faith and trust in Jesus, even when faced with challenging circumstances. People cannot trust in something they have not heard about, and they cannot hear without someone preaching or proclaiming it. Therefore, for people to trust in Jesus, they must first hear about him. This passage emphasises the importance of sharing the authentic and anointed Gospel message for faith to be possible.
