(Psalm 32:8) “The Lord says, 'I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you."
I was uncertain as to where to go next when I received the following text:
"I’m enjoying your series on the Holy Spirit. I think you’ve nailed it, to be honest! The only thing I might add is that we don’t often have teaching/training on how God speaks to us, and people may miss the Holy Spirit‘s promptings because they just don’t recognise how God speaks to them. Not a sinful omission, just a lack of awareness... Blessings!"
So, here is my take on how GOD is believed to communicate with us all. I will begin tomorrow with No. 1. Scripture. NB - I'm deeply grateful for your testimonies. Please keep them coming as they encourage and touch us all.
- Scripture: The Bible is considered the primary source of GOD's Word and guidance.
- Prayer: Through personal communication and reflection with GOD.
- The Holy Spirit: Guiding, convicting, and comforting believers.
- Creation: Observing the natural world and its beauty.
- Circumstances: Life events that reveal GOD's direction or purpose.
- Other People: Wise counsel from others: e.g. Donkeys (lol - Numbers 22), spiritual leaders or fellow believers.
- Dreams and Visions: Sometimes GOD communicates through imagery or dreams (Joel 2:28).
- Inner Conviction: A sense of peace or urgency that aligns with God's will.
As usual, I'll run with these methods and be guided by the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, Your Word assures me that You are always speaking. Please help me to truly hear and understand what You are saying. Open my heart and mind to Your Guidance and wisdom." Amen!
