(Jesus speaking) “Great favour is upon you, for you have believed every word spoken to you from the Lord.” (Luke 1:45)

I didn’t find it hard to ‘hear’ the Lord's voice in the beginning. I guess it was because when I got saved from myself and my unceasing and increasingly tyrannical demands, I 'knew' I was finally FREE.

I wanted to know everything I could about this Awesome GOD that redeemed me and began devouring the Bible from cover to cover, and the more I read - the more I heard …!

We can hear His voice in song, in the loving guidance of others, in nature, even in the silence of Peace.

But … hearing His voice is only the precursor to 'DOING' what He tells us. “Don’t get angry - walk away now.” “Don’t waste your finances on that - you’ll only regret it later.” “This place isn’t good for you - it will destroy you.” “Come, follow Me, and I will show you LIFE and how to truly Live.”
