(Galatians 2:20) "I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. "
I'm sure that most of us have heard this explanation before, but I felt compelled to share it again.
It's an accepted fact that a glove is made to fit the image of a hand, so that a hand can fit perfectly into it.
With a hand inserted into the glove, it becomes tremendously helpful and has a purpose.
But without the hand inserted, the glove is lifeless... useless.
In the same way, 'we' have been created in the image of GOD. We were designed and created this way so that GOD can live inside us, because with GOD inside, we too can enjoy a life of true purpose.

Let's pray, "Father God, I thank you that I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Help me to live this truth out each day. Empower me to die to myself and to live fully for you." Amen!
