“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!” (John‬ ‭14:12‬)

As we read the disciple's recordings of Jesus’s life, we see him being led by the Spirit deep into the mire, hurts, strains and general pains of people's everyday lives.

Wedding ceremonies that don’t quite go to plan. Journeys interrupted by the shunned and pitiful struggling with the plague of leprosy. Interruptions from desperately helpless blind and lame with no place to go. Watching judgemental men with ugliness raging in their own hearts, about to stone a woman to death for the same offence. Witnessing helpless children get sick and die. Constantly being berated by stuck-up religious types who never rolled up their sleeves or lifted a finger to help …!

If we truly ‘choose’ to let the Holy Spirit Live in us and, as such, offer ourselves to be GOD’s hands and feet in this world, then in order to fulfil Jesus’s words, we will have to face the same chaotic situations that he did, so that his miracles can be manifested ‘through us!’

NB - When I (finally) bowed the knee and accepted Christ into my heart, there was an awesome Christian evangelist/ musician called Keith Green. I’ll never forget what he said, “I would have met Jesus sooner if not for Christians who led double lives.” 💔

NB - New and urgent prayer requests and updates are coming in thick and fast and getting too long to just be tagged onto the daily encouragement. As such, I've created a separate page for you to view on the below link, which will be updated constantly ...

The Lord Bless you for caring ❤️
