So many voices are clamouring to be heard today. So many clever arguments are constantly thrust upon us from every spectrum.
But everyone who has lived on this planet long enough to know anything knows deep down that it won’t be clever post-referendum debates or even strong political strategies that save our world...!
We, as Christians who have received the High Love of GOD into ourselves, know that 'this Love' and GOD's Love alone, is the required remedy for all the world's ailments! Why? Because it transformed us!
So, how did we keep our hands from grabbing the reins? By keeping them clasped together in prayer! By unclenching our fists and using our hands to love and serve others. By encouraging, comforting and edifying others. By ‘being’ Christ-like…!
Let's pray: "Father God, I come before you acknowledging that I cannot even come to your Son, Jesus Christ, unless you draw me. I pray that you would draw me closer each day, that I may know you and your ways more intimately and follow you more closely. I trust in your faithfulness to fulfil your promise to raise me up on the last day. Thank you for your love and grace, and for the gift of eternal life that You made available to me through your Son Jesus." Amen.
