(John 6:35) [Jesus speaking], “... Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go.
...This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.”
So ... Here Jesus tells us, quote clearly, that being saved has got nothing at all to do with us!
In fact:
- He's the one holding on to you - and won't let go!
- His part - is to put you on your feet alive and whole at the completion of time!
Let's pray, "Dear GOD, You gave Jesus to us as the Bread of Life, the true source of sustenance for my soul. I thank You for the promise that whoever comes to Him will never hunger and whoever believes in His saving power will never thirst. Help me to hunger for You Father, to seek You above all else, and to find satisfaction only in Your presence. Guide me in my daily life, that I may be nourished by Your word and strengthened by Your Spirit. May I be a witness to Your goodness, sharing the joy of knowing You with others, so they too may taste and see the abundance of Your love." Amen!
