Have you noticed that whenever you hear long-standing friends talk to each other, it’s almost as if they’re using some secret code!
You can catch the basic conversation, but you know that there’s an imperceptible underlying thread to the dialogue that you’ll never quite put together. Their bond is strong and they ‘know each other intimately.’
Likewise when a long-standing husband and wife are together, their intimacy is caught through their eye and hand gestures and expressions. All these are a form of ‘knowing each other.’
The Bible constantly shows that our Heavenly Father longs – yearns for - us to ‘know’ him in this way.
He invites us into a ‘living’ relationship – a two-way relationship. His Spirit is calling – will you come?
