(Matthew 18:21) "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not just seven times, but seventy-seven times!"
In this series, we're delving deeper into the teachings that Jesus left us to follow. The seventh commandment leads us to our next focus: FORGIVENESS ...
I've always wrestled with insecurity, letting perceived slights cut as deeply as real wounds. This struggle has burdened my heart and soul, allowing pain to seep in where it shouldn't. As such, forgiveness has always been a challenging path for me to navigate, and it got so bad that quite unexpectedly, the Lord granted me a powerful vision...
In this vision, I saw a gigantic, threatening man storming toward me, his face burning with rage, fists clenched and poised to strike. I was bewildered—why was this stranger so determined to cause me harm when I had done nothing to provoke him? Frozen in fear and disbelief, I watched as he drew closer, but then, in an instant, he somehow lost his footing and fell hard to the ground. It was as if time slowed down, and I saw him tumble awkwardly and heard the unmistakable crack of his leg breaking.
As I stared in shock, the Lord froze the scene and declared, "I have reviewed everything and have decided. My judgment is against YOU!"
Shocked and confused, I pleaded, "But Lord, I have done no wrong! He was intent on hurting me! How could Your judgment be against me?" The Lord looked me straight in the eye and answered, "Because, my son, your heart rejoiced at his misfortune!"
(Matthew 25:40) "...Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me" Like Jesus, I am called to view all peoples everywhere as my family, embracing GOD's idea of Kingdom kinship. (Ezekiel 33:11) "...As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live...!"
Like Jesus, my motivations should be guided by a desire to liberate others from their struggles and animosity, by channelling the healing power of GOD’s love. By embodying compassion and empathy, I should aim to foster unity and peace, helping to transform lives through the Holy Spirit's Wisdom and His Grace.

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, grant me the strength to forgive those who have hurt me. Help me to see them as Jesus did—lost souls in need of your love and grace. Fill my heart with compassion and understanding, so I may let go of bitterness and embrace healing. Guide me to reflect your love in all my actions." Amen!
