Wednesday – 8/3/17

As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, “Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!” When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Why, yes, Master!” He touched their eyes and said, “Become what you believe.” It happened. They saw… (Matt 9:27) Maybe I’m rather unique in that my ‘logical’ side always seems to want to have an input in my prayers? Either it sides with the possibility of a positive outcome – or works to send shivers down my spine …! Thank God though that our ‘asking’ Papà for a good outcome isn’t subject to us, or the faith we’d like to manifest! Does He always hear? Does He always answer? Circumstances and my eyes might not always agree, but the Holy Spirit in my heart tells me an resounding YES! (Jesus speaking) “… But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?”Luke‬ ‭18:8). Worse case scenario my heart repeats the words of the poor father in Mark 9:29; “I want to believe, Lord help my unbelief…!” X
