Wednesday – 20/1/16

The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God, in readiness for God from day one. Everything was created through him; nothing—not one thing!— came into being without him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness; the darkness couldn’t put it out. (John‬ ‭1:1) “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine … “ While ‘mumbling’ this song I starting thinking: just ‘Who’ is ALIVE and WORKING in me …?! Like the song says: love has a name – Jesus. Emmanuel – God WITH us. So … we’re not alone. Our temptations are His opportunity to share His Life with us. Our disappointments are His opportunity to bring about His new Life solutions. So sing it out! “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine …” X
