Wednesday – 13/4/16

No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it. (‭‭1 Cor 10:13‬) I’m sure that all of us have got oodles of examples of ‘trusting God’ and getting through! I’m also sure that there have been loads of times when our half-hearted prayers were based in the knowledge that we were praying for something in direct opposition to what the Holy Spirit (in us) was counselling. Bottom line …. it’s acceptable for a young child to have a tantrum when they don’t get what they want. But how do you feel when you see the same reaction in a 25+ year old? Ask, seek, knock. The answer will come – but be prepared for a Yes … no … or yes, but not now … X
