Tuesday

(GOD speaking) “… the years have taken their toll; but there is yet a great deal of land to be possessed.” (Jos 13:1)

Me: Ciao Mama, did you enjoy Christmas?

Mama: you know my son, this is my 87th Christmas and I really did this year, the gifts were so special.

Me: why Mama, what made it different?

Mama: well, I did what I’ve always done. First I read the cards. Then the small messages on the gifts. Then I opened the gifts, and then I thank GOD for all those gifts and for the people that have blessed me. They were beautiful gifts for an 87 year old woman. My great grandson bought me a small doll – I tell you the truth, I have never had my own doll.

Me: wow! I never knew …!

(I then ask how everyone else is and my mother asks me about certain things)

Mama: my son, I’ve been thinking, whenever you mention (so and so), it hurts me.

Me: oh Mama, don’t worry I just need to get over what they did

Mama: my son, you know better than they do. If you don’t forgive them from your heart you’ll be chained to them forever!

“Later Peter approached Jesus and said, “How many times do I have to forgive my fellow believer who keeps offending me? Seven times?” Jesus answered, “Not seven times, Peter, but seventy times seven times!” (Mat 18:21) ❤️

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time
