(Psa ‭17:4) We were somehow discussing Tolstoy’s ultimate philosophical question yesterday: “If God does not exist, since death is inevitable, what is the meaning of life?.” Because without the answer to this, for Tolstoy, life had become “impossible“. As such, he turned his back on religious symbolism and embarked on a journey searching for the Jesus GOD has sent – and was found by him. Holy Father, open my eyes.
