They weren’t in love with themselves … (Rev 12:11) Today’s word is obviously just for me – it couldn’t possibly refer to anyone else! As it was a bank holiday here, we woke early and took the dog for a walk along the beach yesterday morning. Unfortunately, even though there was a glorious sun-filled morning sparkling down upon a beautifully gently lapping sea, my focus was constantly drifting towards the man-made beach homes. Talk about struggling with lust … and then my ever Present and Awesome GOD broke through and ‘reminded’ me that ‘my path’ was ‘my path’ and how Faithful He’d been to me along it. You split the sea so I could walk right through it. You rescued me so I could stand and sing: I am a child of GOD. Amen! X
