Tuesday

… make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God.

… We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight.

Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about! (Rom 13:11)

We all know how easy it is to play the ‘Life game’. Everyday and everything needs sorting, our calendar totally filled in and GOD (maybe) relegated to just Sunday.

The thing is, Love – Powerful Love doesn’t won’t (can’t) just ‘roll over’ while we hit the snooze button!

He gave far too much to rescue us from la la land to let us just slip back in … !

Lord, I hear Your Voice, help me. Amen. X

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time
