… discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God. (Heb 12:4)

Don’t know about you but discipline is a 2-way street to me. Giving hurts just as much as the receiving. You yearn for your child to accept and understand yet all you feel is their anger and animosity.

Lord, please give me a teachable spirit. X
