“Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. If you pull the blinds on your windows, what a dark life you will have!” (Matt 6:22).

OK, hands in the air … I confess that I’ve allowed myself to become excessively grumpy this last month! Christmas had become a “bah, humbug!”

But then, as I ‘allowed’ my eyes to see the Glory of our Lord in the Awesome Christmas message (that He came to save that which was lost – ie me!), then the Joy of the truth brought Hope.

Open the eyes of your heart today, let Papà’s light shine in and see for yourself! X
