Now, those who are mature in their faith can easily be recognized, for they don’t live to please themselves but have learned to patiently embrace others in their immaturity. Our goal must be to empower others to do what is right and good for them, and to bring them into spiritual maturity. For not even the most powerful one of all, the Anointed One, lived to please himself. (‭‭Rom‬ ‭15:1)

It was an incredibly stormy night. The storm was raging fiercely outside with pounding, incessant thunder and lightning blasting the sky.

Little Molly had been put to bed with a story, a kiss and a promise that Jesus would be there with her, to look after and care for her, but after only a few minutes she fled her bedroom in terror and ran to her parents room for comfort.

Once again her parents brought her back to her bedroom with the assurance that everything would be OK as Jesus would be there with her, to look after and care for her.

Three more times this happened until finally and with tiny tears streaming down her little face, Molly looked up into her Mother’s face and said, “I think I understand all that Mommy, but just for tonight, can I please have Jesus with skin on?” ❤️
