Sunday

…you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God.

And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” (Rom 8:15)

So many of us live under a cloud of discouragement, we repress everything in the hope of finding peace – the bad as well as the good! All of this stems from our feeling unacceptable. In effect we we find it easier to forgive and love other than we do ourselves.

This ‘orphan’ spirit was CAST OUT OF OUR LIVES when we welcomed Jesus, the Christ of GOD to LIVE IN US.

Lord, I choose to believe the Truth of what you say and this day choose NOT to feel orphaned, and as you rise up within me, my spirit will join you in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” ❤️
