Sunday – 18/9/16

(Jesus speaking) “Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I’ll come right in and sit down to supper with you. Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I, having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father. That’s my gift to the conquerors!” (Rev 3:20) I heard a story once of Jesus walking up to a scruffy looking homeless man crying outside a Church. Jesus asked him: “Son, why are you crying?” The homeless man responded: “Because they won’t let me in!” Jesus retorted: “Son, I’ve been trying to get into this place for 50 years, they won’t let me in either!” I’ve just spend a few days at a retreat where 120 of us have enjoyed ‘Church.’ I’ve seen people set free from fear. I’ve seen hearts open up to Papà’s gentle Holy Spirit. Forgiveness and Grace have palpably ministered among us – and friendships made. Spread the Good News and enjoy Church with Jesus today. X
