Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life…! (Col 3:3)

What is life? We all know death and what it is …!

I’m looking at a beautiful Christmas Poinsettia as I write this and see that although it generally looks healthy there are some leaves that have turned brown and will soon die off.

So what is ‘real life’ like? Well the ‘life’ in the Poinsettia isn’t sufficient to prevent the touch of blight and death, but the ‘Life’ of Jesus ‘in us,’ can!

Only He has ever defeated death! Only He has ever faced every curse, every disease – in fact every ugliness known to man.

One look at him and people turned away. We looked down on him, thought he was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains he carried— our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us… He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises we get healed. (Isa 53:6)

Thank You for Your ‘Real Life’ Jesus. X
