(Jesus speaking) “I can see your pain and poverty—constant pain, dire poverty—but I also see your wealth. … “Don’t quit, even if it costs you your life. Stay there believing. I have a Life-Crown sized and ready for you. “Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (‭‭Rev 2:9) I awoke knowing the Lord was leading me to the book of Revelation and can now see how apt it is for most of us today. He tells us clearly that he can see just where we are – even in our lack, but he also tells us that we’re not lacking – we are rich – in Him! Lord, you know more than we do how much it costs us to live in this very material world. You’ve already told us in your Word that true worship and honest relationship isn’t about pretending or aspiring to be someone else, but to just open up to you and ‘be ourselves‘ before you. So Holy Spirit, please help us to hold on to Jesus’s words. Help us not to quit – and if we ever do, then to humbly accept your Grace and run back quickly. Help us to always know your Presence and to stay there believing! Amen. X
