Saturday

So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you.

Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. (Jas 4:7)

Once again, there’s a 2-part discipline here. We can’t just tell the devil to ‘bog-off’ (and expect him to go with his forked tail between his legs), without first submission to the authority of GOD.
