… Blessed are the chosen! Blessed the guest at home in your place! We expect our fill of good things in your house, your heavenly manse. All your salvation wonders are on display in your trophy room. Earth-Tamer, Ocean-Pourer, Mountain-Maker, Hill-Dresser, Muzzler of sea storm and wave crash, of mobs in noisy riot— Far and wide they’ll come to a stop, they’ll stare in awe, in wonder. Dawn and dusk take turns calling, “Come and worship.” (Psalm‬ ‭65:3) Jesus told us that many would be invited to communion with him but that only a few would make it. (Mat (22:14‬). How do we make it from called to chosen? By responding! Child of God, as you hear His guiding Voice today do not harden your hearts and say no – I can’t or I don’t want to)! Holy Spirit, help me to see and hear all that You show me today as you flow in and through me. I choose this day to dump my strategies and live my life for Your Glory. X
