Monday

Gaze upon him, join your life with his, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again. (Psa 34:5)

I’m reading this and an old song flows into my heart …

Turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace

Oh soul are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior And life more abundant and free

Through death into life everlasting

He passed and we follow Him there O’er us sin no more hath dominion For more than conquerors we are

His word shall not fail you, He promised

Believe Him and all will be well Then go to a world that is dying His perfect salvation to tell

Oh, turn your eyes upon Jesus Look full in His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim In the light of His glory and grace ❤️

If we boast that we have no sin, we’re only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when his light uncovers them, he will be faithful to forgive us every time
