“Father, remove this cup from me. But please, not what I want. What do you want?” (Luke‬ ‭22:43)

It’s easy to smile at the child having a prideful tantrum at the supermarket – unless the child happens to be yours!

So the older children get the more we try to train them to make their own decisions – not just any decisions, but the ‘right’ ones.

But are we any different when it comes to GOD? Do we prefer self-will to GOD’s will?

We show our love to our Heavenly Father when we can say with Jesus, “Not what I want, what do You want?”

I’m assured that this is arguably the most important message of the Bible. ❤️
