… the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. (‭‭1 Cor‬ ‭6:17‬)

I gave my life to the Lord at a time when there wasn’t really much teaching on the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, seemed to be the pinnacle of achievement.

I didn’t learn to lean on Him through books and tapes as much as by hard fought experience. I leaned the hard way through His Spirit, His Guiding Presence ‘in me’ – that the end wasn’t the goal but rather that I should let go of my selfish desires, to relax, appreciate what I had, stop moaning and relish the ‘journey!’

Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. (‭‭Prov 3:5‬) ❤️
