The big argument right now seems to be focussed on homosexuality.

I was on door duty at church quite a few years ago with a couple of bible students. I overheard their conversation which was focussed on a guy walking up to church who they were adamant wasn’t going to get in as he was homosexual.

I heard myself saying, “What about her over there?” They turned as I pointed out a woman exiting a car on her own. “She left her husband for another man… should she get in?” “Or him,” I pointed out. “He’s just lost his job and his wife’s walked out on him through his heavy drinking.” “Or him,” I turned to another guy, “everyone know he’s been having an affair with his secretary for years, but he’s been a good giver here …!” “Or that lady over there, apparently it started with playing Bingo – now she’s a full on gambling addict!”

“Wouldn’t this world be a lot better if we stopped judging everyone we meet and instead just let them through to meet with Jesus?”

Thank GOD that it’s Jesus’s job to set people free and not ours! ❤️
