Friday – 4/4/14

You’ve come to Jesus, who presents us with a new covenant, a fresh charter from God. He is the Mediator of this covenant. The murder of Jesus, unlike Abel’s—a homicide that cried out for vengeance—became a proclamation of grace. (Heb 12:24).

The older I get the more I see that people still think of Grace as being some sort of spiritual lottery and that unless we’re visibly ‘doing Christian stuff’ and therefore jumping up and down like the donkey on Shrek screaming ‘pick me! Pick me!’ Then we’re somehow being overlooked!

Grace (thank God) IS what it IS!!! Unmerited Favour!

Papà WANTS to be Merciful towards us – because He IS Merciful. He wants to set us free from all our harmful choices – because He IS Freedom! He wants us to be alive and living right – because He IS Life! X
