Friday – 23/10/15

He did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant written in my blood, blood poured out for you.” (Luke‬ ‭22:20‬)

If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we’re obviously lying through our teeth—we’re not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God’s Son, purges all our sin. (1 John‬ ‭1:6)

Lord, I’m not really clear just what your blood has done, but what I do know is how I feel know when I’m with you rather than when I’m not and I much prefer being with you. Thank you. X
