… I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel.

I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere.

And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences. (Eph 4:1)

‘Pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love …’

If you’ve been a follower of Christ for longer than 5 minutes, you’ll agree that even though you really ‘want’ to do this, and set off in the day with all the best intentions, people can really wind you up and then this directive becomes almost impossible.

So, how can we fulfil our true destinies? Only by following the Holy Spirit’s leadings and ‘allowing’ Him to be the protection over our (very thin and easily offended) personalty’s. X
