Day 93/365

This is the testimony in essence: God gave us eternal life; the life is in his Son. So, whoever has the Son, has life; whoever rejects the Son, rejects life. (1 John 5:11 MSG)

Google tells me that the definition of ‘rejection’ is to: dismiss as inadequate, unacceptable, or faulty. Also to refuse to agree or to fail to show due affection or concern.

And the antonym of rejection is to ‘welcome’.

So if I want to welcome Jesus, the question is: how do I welcome someone I don’t really know – or have never met?

Well, it can’t be that difficult as our lives are spent constantly being introduced to strangers. Some have become our good friends, some we’ve married and some we’ve brought up as our children.

Holy Spirit, please help us to get to know and trust you - enough to honour you and bless us both, as well as all you want me to befriend. Amen. ❤️
