Day 92/365

Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God. (1 Peter‬ ‭3:13)

We watch as all the world waits outside Golgotha’s tomb ready with their baskets of chocolate eggs and seasonal paraphernalia.

We watch as they raise their camera phones, all the time wondering if they’ll get to see an Angel or maybe the stone roll away.

We watch, not with pride because GOD has reached out and brought us into His Presence, but with anticipation because of GOD’s promise; “Actually, God considers all of humanity to be prisoners of their unbelief, so that he can unlock our hearts and show his tender mercies to all who come to him.” (Rom 11:32‬)

We remain therefore full of hope for the fallen world we were once part of, and holding out our loving hands to them and raising our inviting voices to them proclaim the Good News, all the time Rejoicing in the Glorious Presence of a Risen Jesus, the Christ of GOD who wants to Redeem, Heal, Save and Carry all mankind back into His Glorious Presence. ❤️
