Day 90/365

All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too. (2 Cor‬ ‭1:3)

There are times in our walk with GOD that seem difficult. Huge and difficult problems loom up everywhere and trying to find peaceful solutions can feel like you’re walking in thick dark fog, with no sounds and no sights to rely on.

Jesus must have felt this way too as he hung on that cross for our sake. In fact he shouted out from Psalm 22, “God, my God! Why would you abandon me now? Why do you remain distant, refusing to answer my tearful cries in the day and my desperate cries for your help in the night? I can’t stop sobbing. Where are you, my God...? (Psa 22:1)

But GOD is Faithful to all He has made, and as Jesus speaks the Word, he receives GOD’s Peace, “... Stand in awe of him, all you offspring of Israel! For he has not despised my cries of deep despair. He’s my first responder to my sufferings, and when I was in pain, he was there all the time and heard the cries of the afflicted.”

(‭‭Psa 22:22)

Let all GOD’s children say, “You’re the reason for my praise; it comes from you and goes to you. (Psa‬ ‭22:25‬) ❤️
