I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger.
And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty. (Phil 4:12)
There was a song that the kids used to sing in Sunday school “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
The thing is - this isn’t based on a kind of ‘superman’ ability (I.e. when you’ve got it, you've got it!), this is a power that infuses (like a tea bag), just when you need it.
So it’s not based on our strengths at all - it’s the opposite! (GOD speaking) “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty plower of Christ living in me. (2 Cor 12:9) ❤️
