Day 82/365

“Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. If you pull the blinds on your windows, what a dark life you will have!” (Matt 6:22 MSG).


OK, hands in the air … I confess that I’ve allowed myself to become excessively grumpy this last few weeks! I’ve had a cold and been struggling with coughing and breathing, and tried to win this war on my own rather than simply trust in my Lord and wait for his Gift of Health …


But then yesterday, as I focused on the powerful words of a worship song and ‘allowed’ my eyes to see the Glory of our Lord in the Awesome message, (that He came to save that which was lost – ie me!), then Joy and Truth brought Hope.


Child of the Living GOD, don’t be as daft as me and let circumstances wear you down, instead keep the eyes of your heart open to the Lord - let Papà’s light shine in and set you Free! ❤️
