Great favor rests upon you, for you have believed every word spoken to you from the Lord. (Luke 1:45)
Whenever something happens, my wife has a saying, “OK, this is happening, but what does the Lord say about it?”
This all stemmed from me coming home one night from a church meeting to find her collapsed on the floor and haemorrhaging badly. She was rushed to the hospital and as the doctors were doing their best to stem the flow of blood and we the church and our friends were praying, she sought the Lord.
She tells me that she was led by the Holy Spirit to a scripture in the Bible, “I will not die, but live, And declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the LORD. (Psalms 118:17).
She hung on tenaciously to this word for 3 days. On the fourth day, a doctor came to see us and started with, “I don’t know if you believe in miracles... we can see that you’ve been haemorrhaging, but we can’t see from where, and there’s nothing wrong with you now, so you can go home to your family.
(Jesus speaking), “Don’t yield to your fear. Have faith in me...” (Luke 8:50) ❤️
