Day 63/365

“We may toss the coin and roll the dice, but God’s will is greater than luck.” (Pro 16:33‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

We all need to know GOD’s will for our lives. Think about it, if He wants me to turn right and head towards my blessing, but I’m insisting on heading left (because I don’t like what I see - or feel - or think), then how can He bless me in my wilful disobedience?

I can’t remember how many times someone has asked me to pray for them for ‘the will of GOD’ to be revealed to them, and when they do I always respond in the same way: “Put on your walking shoes and your coat and go for a long walk – preferably somewhere quiet so you can have no distractions. Take a pen and paper with you as well, because you’ll need them to write down all that He tells you…”

Lord GOD, help us to open our hands and let go of all the ‘things’ that we have convinced ourselves we can’t do without and that will (somehow) benefit our lives, and in laying them down, to turn to You and honestly ask, “Holy Father, what is Your Perfect will for my life?”

… and please Holy Spirit, give me the heart (and courage) to do it. ❤️
