Day 364/365

“He saves the people who obey him. But he keeps bad people quiet in dark places.” (1 Samuel‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭EASY‬‬)


This reminds me of a testimony of a young Christian girl who was being put under tremendous pressure to ‘be’ like the rest of her school mates and go out and party …


They’d gone to a bar and were trying to ply her with drinks when she suddenly found the strength to stand up and tell them that she didn’t want this kind of life, and that she was leaving to go home and be with her family.

All the girls then started mocking her, and one girl shouted out, “Poor baby, are you frightened your daddy’s going to hurt you …?” To which the Christian girl said back, “Actually, I’m more frightened that being here and drinking like this, will hurt my dad.”
