Day 353/365

“… Cry for help and you’ll find it’s grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he’ll answer… Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” (Isa 30:19-22‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

There are lots of great forest walks where we live and one day my wife and I were walking our dog and we got quite lost and couldn’t find where we’d parked our car. It was starting to get dark, we had no signal on our phones and bearing in mind that my sense of direction is that poor that I get lost in the shower, things were looking quite hopeless.

Doing the ‘man thing’ I began storming off in all directions and we did finally manage to find a road, but never saw any cars. Finally my wife took the initiative and after calmly prayInt she set off smartly back into the forest. I followed along meekly (what else could I do)? Five minutes later we came upon the car park and our car!

Miracles come in all shapes and sizes, and we serve a Living GOD who knows just what we need - even before we ask.
