Day 342/365

“Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.” (Psalm‬ ‭28:6-7‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

I receive prayer requests and updates from a local church and am always so happy when I see a request turn into a peak of praise for answered prayer.

I know that there will be some people reading this that are thinking “Oh GOD, please hurry up and answer me …” and there will likewise be some who treat His Word as if it’s just a tick box, something to be done just to keep insurance with GOD.

The thing is, GOD didn’t come as Jesus just to give us more rules for living, or even to explain the rules He’d previously given. He came to show us ‘how’ to live, ‘how’ to pray, ‘how’ to love.

Lord, when my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on You, then I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise You. ❤️
