Day 340/365

“But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!” (2 Cor ‭12:9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

Theres an old joke that tells of a man whose business is in decline and he’s despairing to pay his bills. He feels that his only way out is to somehow win the lottery and so he prays to win each day. A few months go by and things are getting really desperate, so he screams up to Heaven, “PLEASE GOD, PLEASE LET ME WIN!” The Lord calls down to him, “My son, meet me half way in this and at least buy a ticket!” When you’re in over your head, GOD will only ask that you do the best you can. Sometimes that may be to simply ‘turn up!’ but that’s OK. GOD will see your faith in Him and His abilities and He will then supply the required rest! ❤️
