Day 337/365

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.” (Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭TPT‬‬)


This question is actually a crossroads for most of us. The first well trodden path leads to yet another question, “Do you really love me enough to answer me when I’m In trouble?”


The second well trodden path path ends with yet another question, “Have I done enough to stay in Your good books?”


The third well trodden path leads to ”I’m not really a praying kind of person, what good are my prayers to You?


And finally, the overgrown and not very attracive path leads to a simple cross wherr are written words from Scripture, “The tax collector stood alone in a corner, away from the Holy Place, and covered his face in his hands, feeling that he was unworthy even to look up to God. Beating his breast, he sobbed with brokenness and tears saying, ‘God, please, in your mercy and because of the blood sacrifice, forgive me, for I am nothing but the most miserable of all sinners!’” (Luke‬ ‭18:13‬ ‭TPT‬)
