Day 335/365

“You are kind, God! Please have pity on me. You are always merciful! Please wipe away my sins. Wash me clean from all of my sin and guilt. I know about my sins, and I cannot forget the burden of my guilt. You are really the one I have sinned against; I have disobeyed you and have done wrong. So it is right and fair for you to correct and punish me.” (Psalms‬ ‭51:1-4‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

I awoke this morning to a Keith Green song. This is undoubtedly just for me as I’m sure none of you are feeling like this …

My eyes are dry My faith is old My heart is hard My prayers are cold And I know how I ought to be Alive to You and dead to me

But what can be done For an old heart like mine Soften it up With oil and wine The oil is You, Your Spirit of love Please wash me anew With the wine of Your Blood

❤️🙏🏻❤️
