Day 334/365

“Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation! [Rom. 8:37.]

The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]!.”

‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭3:17-19‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Are we so fickle that when the worst happens, we just run and dump GOD?

CS Lewis wrote in the Screwtape letters, that it is the job of each and every demon down here to do everything they can to get us all to blame GOD for everything that happens to us.

But when - and in spite of each and every situation - we take the time to remember His Promise that He’ll NEVER leave us and NEVER forsake us. That He is FOR us and not against us, then our confidence grows and our hope revives, our hearts soften and our love for Him returns and the scene is then set for MIRACLES to happen…!
