Day 328/365
“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.” (Proverbs 29:25 AMPC)
I used to work for a German Shipping company years ago and my wife and I had been invited to their Christmas party in Hamburg.
We boarded the plane at Heathrow and it was just zooming down the runway when the guy in the aisle seat opposite me began holding his chest as if in pain and convulsing badly.
The plane was now climbing fast and all the signs were on telling us not to move when my wife nudged me and told me to help him!
I undid my seat belt and went and knelt beside him and as the air hostess began screaming at me for leaving my seat, I did the only ‘medical’ thing I knew, I loosened his tie and looking into his purple face began praying for his healing. His bulging eyes stared at me for a few seconds and then it seemed as if everything in him just ‘clicked’ and returned to normal.
He couldn’t speak English so he thanked me profusely in German and the air hostess took it upon herself to rebuke me in both languages.
The fear of man is a snare … GOD is good to all. ❤️
