Day 25/365
“… the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,” (Romans 3:22 AMPC)
The nightmare began 10 years ago when I heard the doctors pronounce, “I’m so sorry, but you’re riddled with cancer…”
After a (long) bout of kicking, screaming and whining, I (finally) settled down and listened to my wife, “Never mind what the doctors say - what does GOD say?” Long story short - the Lord assured me of His victory and my healing.
23 December 2010 I had my final group chemotherapy session. On 30 December I received a call from the oncologist, “I am sorry, but it’s still there! We need to send you for a PET scan and that will show us more …”
I had the scan on the 6 Jan 2011 and (telling it like it was), all I remember is being very angry with everything. “Lord,” I said, “You told me that I was healed and here I am on yet another machine…!”
25 January 2011, (ten years ago today), the oncologist called me. “I have no idea what’s happening, but somehow all the cancer we saw last month has gone!”
Call out to Jesus … ❤️
